Karla Cabello (American Spanish:; born on March 3, 1997[1]) is an American-born Cuban musician and singer. Her fame was gained as a performer and songwriter with the female group Fifth Harmony. This group is now one of America's most popular girl groups. Cabello started to become one-woman singers while she was part of Fifth Harmony. Her collaborations, "I Know What You did this Summer" (with Shawn Mendes) as well as "Bad Things" together featuring Machine Gun Kelly reached the number 4 spot in the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello quit the band in 2016. Belle was the star in several television commercials for a variety of brands in the early years in her professional career. This were Eli Lilly Pharma, Cabbage patch Kids, Campbell's Soup, and Public Broadcasting System. Her first role was in NBC thriller Trapped Beneath the Earth, an acclaimed 1992 movie. (2) Belle began her career with one small part in the movie version of A Little Princess, the book A Little Princess (1995). For The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) her character appeared as Cathy Bowman, a young wealthy British girl who is attacked by a pack of Compsognathus. In 1998, she was Aubrey Shepard on the Focus on the Family radio drama Adventures in Odyssey. After a brief appearance as Steven Seagal's daughter in The Patriot (1998), she was awarded an 1999 Youth in Film Young Artist Award nomination for her portrayal the character of Sandra Bullock as an actress in Practical Magic (1998) along with an award the same year for her guest performance in the television series Walker: Texas Ranger.
