Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She is a founder of The Huffington Post and the chief executive officer of Thrive Global. Author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington has been a journalist, TV personality, philanthropist and author for more than ten years. She is also the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. Her birthplace was Greece she was able to move to England at the age of sixteen and then completed her studies at Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. When she was 21, she became the president of the famed debating society The Cambridge Union' and was the first foreign student in the history of Cambridge University to be elected. Being a conservative syndicated blog when she graduated, she became a voice of the Huffington Post. The fame of Arianna helped to attract several famous contributors who shared their views on current events as well as politics and culture. Arianna first gained notoriety during 2003 when she volunteered for California's recall election, replacing then Governor Davis. In addition, she also spearheaded a Detroit campaign to encourage fuel-efficient automobiles. Forbes listed her as the most influential woman in the field of media in 2009. The newspaper was ranked as 12th on the list. The Guardian also included her on the top 100 list of media in 2009. AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post, and she was made president of the media company. This included many AOL properties of the time such as Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. She was born to a journalist and management consultant Konstantinos along with his partner Elli Stasinopoulos. Although she had a close connection to both her father and mother and father, it was their relationship which shaped her. She showed leadership traits throughout her childhood. At 16 years of age she relocated into the United Kingdom to pursue her studies and enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debate group. Being the third woman president, and also the first foreigner she served as the head for the Cambridge Union. In 1972, she earned the degree of master's in Economics. The career of a journalist and television host was born after graduation. Also, she appeared on the show Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books taking editorial help from him.
